Spicer & Associates was first established on 1 June
1946 by Gordon H Sorenson. Gordon Sorenson was the first Levin accountant to
be given the title Fellow in recognition of his contribution to accountancy.
Since then the firm has practiced successfully with several partner changes
to today's Director Greg Spicer who joined in 1996.
Spicer & Associates has
traded since 1981 from its present location next to the fire station in Queen
Street Levin.
Levin is a strategic town located in the heart of the Horowhenua with farming,
market gardening and Horticulture. Levin also has a strong textile and light
industrial base, as well as retail service and other industries, as a result
the firm has a wide range of industry experience and does not specialize in
any one industry. We also service clients all over New Zealand and internationally.
The office has the advantages of free parking and close proximity to Lawyers,
Banks and Levin's retail area.
The firm of Chartered Accountants has to comply with meet
the high standards set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand,
these include quality control and mandatory continuing education to ensure
that you get the most up to date advice and service possible.
We use a modern networked computer system with PC's
on everyones desk, also the long serving friendly staff are well trained and
experienced and are able to help clients achieve their business goals.

Greg
Spicer - BBS CA
Director and Chartered Accountant who has always resided in Levin apart from
the years at university.
Greg has a very broad client base, which ahs given him a vast knowledge of how
businesses operate and how he is able to help.
A keen sportsman who likes a refreshment at the end of the game.
Natalie
Martin
Has been with the firm since 1994 and has recently been granted a Sharebroking
License.
Natalie handles all investment and the buying and selling of shares. She has
a variety of resources at her disposal and is happy to assist with your investment
or sharebroking requirements
Cath
McCreedy
Cath works part time and also has previous experience with banking, Cath handles
client accounting, gst returns etc and is most capable at turning her hand to
most tasks required in our busy office.
She is currently two thirds through her extramural studies at Massey for her
accountancy degree.
Cindy Stout
Our lady of first impressions, she handles all the UDC call account transactions
as well as word processing, running final accounts. Cindy has studied at UCOL and passed Business Technology and Administration level three.
Ruth
Seymour
Handles client wages the firms administration and client tax payments. As well she is the mother hen of the practice having worked with the firm since
its inception, Ruth and husband Ron are also keen farmers.
Edelyn Bathan BBS
Edelyn has gained her Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Massey University majoring in Accountancy, and is currently working towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
She prepares clients accounts and income tax and GST returns, and in her spare time is kept busy with her young family.
